Real-world examples of the scale in action:
- General:
- India: Occasionally performed in Hindustani music as Raag Gunakri or Raag Gunkali (“the epitome of devotion and compassion”) – a pair of rare, interlinked ragas around which there is limited melodic consensus. The Southern Raga Salanganata ascends with the same tones, but may add a shade of the major third in descent.
